A strong storm will pass to our west and a strong cold front will cross the area on Monday morning. Ahead of the front showers and some storms will cross the area. And, winds will be very gusty during the passage. On Tuesday colder air will come into the area along with sunny skies. Temps will hold in the 40's for the middle of the week.
Boston forecast:
Tonight: Low clouds and fog with scattered showers, mist and drizzle this evening. Then showers with scattered thunderstorms late. Temps rising to 60 by dawn. South wind increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH late.
Monday: Showers with scattered thunderstorms until 9AM, then increasing sunshine. Temps near 65 by 9 AM, but falling to 55 by 4 PM. SW winds of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.
Monday night: Clearing and colder. Lows in the mid 30's. West winds of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.
Tuesday: Sunny and colder. Windy with highs in the mid 40's. NW winds of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.
Wednesday Sunny and cold. Highs in the low 40's.
Thursday: Sunny with highs in the 40's
Friday: Sunny with highs in the 40's.
US Weather: A major severe weather outbreak hit the Midwest today. About 80 tornadoes have been reported so far including major touchdowns. A reported EF4 tornado in Illinois leveled a whole town earlier this afternoon. And tornado watches include many major metro areas tonight. Also the Chicago Bears football game was delayed about 2 hours because of the weather.
