Rain Update

Rain and some wind will occur on Tuesday as an area of low pressure comes thru. The heaviest rain will be south of Boston and gusty winds will occur near the coast. It will return to warm and dry by the end of the week.

Tuesday: Rain. High 68. NE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. 

Tuesday night: Rain ends. Lows in the upper 50's. Total rainfall of 1-3 inches. 

Wednesday; Sunny with highs in the mid 80's. 

Thursday; Sunny with highs around 90. 
Friday: Sunny with highs in the 80's .

Flood Watch

 Scattered showers will occur on Monday along with cooler temperatures. More widespread rain is likely Monday night into Tuesday with several inches of rain possible. It should dry out for the rest of the week.

Tuesday: Heavy rain. Highs in the upper 60's .NE wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. Total rainfall of 1-3 inches. 

Wednesday: Sunny with highs around 80. 

Thursday; Sunny with highs around 90. 

Friday: Sunny with highs in the 80's. 

4th Of July Forecast

 The 4th of July will be another hot one with a chance of late day storms. Sunday will be a bit cooler before a chance of rain early next week.

An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect for the Boston area thru the 4th of July.

Tonight: Clear and stuffy. Low 80. 

4th of July; Mostly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms after 4 PM. High 98. SW wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Saturday night: Clearing with lows in the mid 70's. 

Sunday: Partly sunny with highs in the mid 80's. 

Monday; PM rain likely. Highs in the upper 70s'.

Tuesday;  Rain likely. Highs around 70. 

Dangerous Heat Ahead

 An Extreme Heat Warning has been issued for most of MA as a dangerous heat wave approaches. The hottest days appear to be Thursday and Friday as temps soar above 100! And the heat index could be over 110! Please stay safe during the heat wave.

Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Low 72. 

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high of 97. SW wind of 10-20 MPH. Heat index up to 105. 

Wednesday night: Clear with lows in the upper 70's. 

Thursday; Sunny and humid. Hot with highs around 102. 

Friday: Sunny with highs around 103. 

Saturday: Late storms possible. Highs in the mid 90's.  

Sunday: Sunny with highs in the 80's. 

Extreme Heat Watch

 The heat and humidity will continue to build over the next several days. Tuesday will be in the 90's and temps will approach or surpass 100 degrees for the middle and end of the week. The hottest day of the week appears to be Thursday when temps will exceed 100 and heat index values will be nearing 115!

Weekend Update

 Sunday will be another nice day with sunny skies and temps nearing 80. Monday should be the pick of the week before heat and humidity build for the middle and end of the week. 

Boston forecast: 

Tonight: Any showers fade to clearing skies. Low 58. 

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a sea breeze. Highs near 75 in Boston and 82 inland. SE wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Sunday night: Clear with lows in the upper 50's. 

Monday: Sunny with highs in the mid 80's. 

Tuesday: Sunny with highs in the low 90's. 

Wednesday: Hot and humid. Sunny with highs around 100!

 Extended: Dangerous heat and humidity likely. Air temps over 100 possible with heat index values well over 100!  

Scattered Storms

 Rain will fall overnight and into Friday morning as a front comes through. After a midday break more showers and storms are possible late in the day and some could be severe. And the weekend will be mostly dry, but there is a small risk for a shower.

Tonight; Showers late. Low 65. SE wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Friday: Showers until 10 AM, then partly sunny with scattered showers and severe thunderstorms. High 80. South wind of 15-25 MPH. Some storms may bring high winds and hail. 

Friday night: Showers and severe storms around early, then partial clearing. Lows around 70. 

Saturday;  Partly sunny with a shower possible. Highs in the upper 70's .
