High Wind Watch

 Sunday will be the calm before the storm with some sun and light winds. A powerful storm will impact the area on Monday into Monday night with high winds and flooding rains. And a thunderstorm is possible as well.

Boston forecast: 

Tonight: Clear with a low of 32. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Sunday: Partly to mostly sunny with a high of 45. NW wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Sunday night: Increasing clouds with lows in the upper 30's. SE wind of 15-25  MPH. 

Monday: Showers. Highs in the low 60's. SE wind increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 55 MPH. 

Monday night :Rain and thunder. Temps near 60 early will crash to 40 late. SE wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 65 MPH. 

Tuesday: Clearing with highs in the mid 40's. 

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the 30's. 

A Chilly Weekend

 It will be back to the chilly weather over the next few days. On Friday temps will be near 40 with some wind. Saturday will turn out very windy and chilly and clouds will increase on Sunday ahead of our next storm. The storm will bring heavy rain and strong winds on Monday.

Tonight: Snow this evening, then clearing. Low 28. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Snow may coat the ground .

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high of 40. NW wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Friday night: Snow and rain showers with no accumulation. Lows in the mid 30's. 

Saturday: Partly sunny and windy. Highs in the mid 40's. 

Sunday; Increasing clouds with highs in the mid 40's .

Monday; Rain and wind. Highs around 60. 

Wild Weather

 Thursday will be a wild weather day with crashing temps, rain and even some snow to end the day. Friday will also feature a chance for snow before a chilly and windy weekend. 

Boston forecast: 

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Temps rise to 60 by dawn. SE wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with scattered rain until 4 PM, then scattered snow. Temps fall from 60 early to 35 by the end of the day. West wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. 

Thursday night: Scattered snow. Lows in the upper 20's. Snow may coat the ground in some areas. 

Friday; A rain or snow shower possible. Highs around 40. 

Saturday:  Partly sunny and windy. Highs in the mid 40's .

Sunday: Sunny with highs in the 40's. 

Monday: Heavy rain and strong winds likely. Highs in the 50's. 

Cooling Off

A cold front will come thru tonight leading to a cloudy and cool Wednesday. A sharper cold front will approach the region on Thursday with rain and wind and even some snow. It will remain chilly thru the weekend.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a passing shower. High 48. NE wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Wednesday night: Showers likely. Lows in the low 40's. 

Thursday: Rain showers and breezy. Temps in the 50's early will crash to near 40 by the end of the day.

The Week Ahead

Clouds will clear on Monday and temps will warm to near 60 degrees. Tuesday will be even warmer with highs nearing 70 before a sharp cold front arrives midweek.

Monday: Mostly cloudy with areas of fog in the morning, then mostly sunny in the afternoon. High 60. SW wind of 15-25 MPH.

Wednesday: Showers possible. Highs in the mid 50's .

Thursday: Rain and wind with temps falling into the 40's. 

Friday: Clearing and colder. Highs in the 30's. . 

Weekend Forecast

 Saturday will be a classic early spring day with low clouds, fog, mist and drizzle with temps in the 40's. A warm front will cross the area overnight leading to showers. On the other side of the front temps will finally warm up with temps possibly reaching 70 by early next week!

Sunday: Early clouds and fog lead to sunshine in the afternoon. Highs around 60. 

Monday: Sunny with highs in the mid 60's .

An Icy Mix

 A wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain will continue through the night and into Friday morning. A few inches of snow are possible. And an icy glaze as well.

Tonight: A mix of rain, sleet, freezing rain and snow. Low 32. NE wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Friday: Snow and sleet and freezing rain until 9 AM, then mostly cloudy with areas of fog. High 35. NE wind of 15-25 MPH. Total snow and sleet amounts of 2-4 inches. Total ice amounts around 1/10 of an inch. 

Friday night: Mostly cloudy with lows around 30. 

Saturday: Partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the low 50's. Turn clocks ahead 1 hour before bed. 

Sunday: Turning sunny and much warmer. Highs around 60.
