Forecast Update

 Thursday will be a sunny day with temps near freezing. Friday will feature increasing clouds ahead of our next system. That system will bring snow to the region on Saturday amounting to a few inches. Bitter air comes into the region behind the system. 

Boston forecast: 

Tonight: Clear with lows near 15 in Boston and 8 ABOVE in the suburbs. 

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high of 32. NW wind of 10-20  MPH.

Thursday night: Clear with lows around 12. 

Friday: Partly sunny with highs in the upper 20's. 

Saturday: Snow. Highs in the mid 20's. Total snow amounts of 1-3 inches. 

Sunday: Clearing and cold. Highs around 10, Wind chills as low as 25 BELOW early. Stay tuned!

Near Freezing

 The next few days will feature mainly sunny skies and temps near 30. Then an arctic front will bring snow to the area Friday night into Saturday morning. Frigid temps will come into New England behind the front with dangerous wind chills likely. 

Boston forecast: 

Tonight: Clear with a low of 15. 

Wednesday: Mostly sunny in the morning, then partly sunny with a passing flurry in the afternoon. High 32. West wind of 15-25 MPH.

Wednesday night: A flurry around early, then clearing. Lows around 8 ABOVE. 

Thursday: Sunny with highs in the upper 20's. 

Friday: Increasing clouds with snow probable at night. Highs in the mid 20's. 

Saturday: Snow early, then turning sunny and windy. Temps near 20 early will fall to 10 by late in the day. 

Sunday: Sunny with highs around 12.

The Week Ahead

 Monday will be a bit warmer with temps nearing freezing for highs along with sunny skies. It will remain dry throughout the week and temps will be at or below freezing as well.

Tonight: Clear and cold. Low 10. NW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 5 BELOW late. 

Monday: Mostly sunny with a high of 30. NW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 5 BELOW early. 

Monday night: Clear with lows around 7 ABOVE. 

Tuesday: Sunny with highs around 30. 

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the upper 20's. 

Thursday: Sunny with highs in the 20's. 

Friday; Sunny with highs in the 20's. 

US Weather: Temps below freezing were reported all over Florda and all over the Southeast over the last few days. And over a foot of snow fell in parts of the Carolinas as well.

Frigid Friday

 Friday will be a frigid day along with sunny skies. Saturday will also be chilly before a powerful nor'easter makes a close pass on Sunday. The storm now looks to just be a graze bringing light snow and wind to the Boston area with more snow towards the Cape and Islands.

Saturday: Sunny with highs around 20.

Cold Days

 After the snowstorm dropped around 2 FEET of snow in the Boston area the cold remains. The next few days will all be below freezing and with a gusty wind as well. It will remain dry thru the workweek before we watch a powerful nor'easter for the weekend.

Tonight: Any flakes end, then clearing and very cold. Lows around 5 ABOVE. NW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 10 BELOW late. 

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high of 22. NW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 10 BELOW. 

Wednesday Night: Clear with lows around 6 ABOVE. 

Thursday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 20's .

Friday: Sunny and very cold. Highs around 17.

Storm Update

A major Winter storm is ahead as an area of low pressure comes up the coast. It will bring heavy snow to the region from Sunday thru Monday. Up to 2 FEET of snow is possible in and around Boston. I highly suggest staying off the roads Sunday afternoon thru the night.

Tonight: Increasing clouds with a low of 5 ABOVE. 

Sunday: Cloudy until 10 AM, then snow. High 28. NE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. 

Sunday night: Heavy snow and wind. Temps holding in the mid 20's. NE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. 

Monday: Periods of snow. Temps holding near 30. 

Monday night: Snow ends. Lows around 10. Total snow amounts of 18-24 inches. 

Tuesday: Clearing with highs around 20.

Snowstorm Forecast

A blockbuster storm is on the way with heavy snow and strong winds. The snow will arrive by Sunday morning and fall heavily thru Sunday night. Well over a foot of snow is expected. And there will be blowing and drifting snow. Please stay off the roads Sunday evening and overnight.
