Back And Forth

 The home opener for the Red Sox will be warmer along with increasing sunshine. But as the front moves south again on Saturday, it will turn colder again. And another front will lead to rain on Easter Sunday. 

Boston forecast: 
 
Tonight: Areas of low clouds, fog, mist and drizzle. Near steady temps around 36. NE wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Friday: Areas of low clouds and fog in the morning, then partly sunny in the afternoon. High 68. SW wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Friday night: Clouds move back in. Lows in the low 40's. 

Saturday: Low clouds with temps in the mid 40's. 

Easter Sunday: Showers with scattered thunderstorms. Highs in the  low 60's. 

Monday: Sunny with highs in the 50's. 

Forecast Update

 Thursday will be a very cold day with rain showers with maybe even a few sleet pellets mixed in. Friday will be warmer as the front surges north again, before it goes south on Saturday.

 Saturday will be a cold and gray day with a passing flurry. Some sun is possible on Sunday with temps in the 40's. A major warmup is likely early next week.

A Cold Front

 A cold front will bring showers overnight with falling temps. Friday will clear out but it will be colder. Then Saturday will be the coldest of the week with highs holding in the 30's.

Friday: Becoming mostly sunny. High 45. NW wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Friday night: Clear with lows in the mid 20's. 

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with scattered snow showers. Cold with highs in the mid 30's . 

Sunday: Partly sunny with highs in the upper 40's. 

Monday: Sunny with highs in 50's. 

Warmer Wednesday

 Wednesday will be a nice spring day with sun and a sea breeze. Thursday will be even warmer, but with some showers. A strong cold front will come through the area on Friday leading to more rain and a cold weekend.

Tonight: Clear with a low of 32. 

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a sea breeze. Highs near 48 in Boston and 55 inland. SE wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Wednesday night: Showers late. Lows in the low 40's. 

Thursday: Some showers likely. Breezy with highs in the mid 60's. 

Friday: Rain likely. Temps in the 50's early will fall to the 40's. late. 

Saturday Sunny and cold. Highs in the mid 30's. 

Sunday: Sunny with highs in the 40's .

Snow Monday

 The rain will continue overnight before changing to sleet and then snow before dawn. Snow will last through the morning and amount to an inch or 2 mainly on nonpaved surfaces. More snow is likely later i the evening that could stick to the pavement as temps drop.

Tonight: Rain changing to sleet and then snow late. Low 32. North wind of 15-15 MPH.

Monday: Snow and sleet. High 37. North wind of 15-25 MPH.

Monday night: Snow in the evening, then clearing. Lows around 30. North wind of 15-25 MPH. Total snow amounts of 1-3 inches. 

Tuesday: Sunny with highs in the mid 40's. 

Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the mid 50's.. 

Thursday: Sunny with highs around 60. 

Friday: Precip possible. Highs in the 40's. 

Sunny Saturday

 Clouds will break for Saturday along with temps near 50. Sunday will feature scattered showers and cooler temps as a front comes through. On Monday a stronger system will impact the region and as cold air comes down from then north snow now seems likely. Even a small accumulation is likely! Sunday: Any snow showers change to rain showers. Highs in the mid 40's.
