Thunderous Thursday

 A series of fronts will lead to showers, storms and wind on Thursday. First, a warm front will lead to showers first thing in the morning. Then, after some midday clearing an approaching cold front will bring scattered severe storms and isolated tornadoes. It will dry out for Friday and the weekend before the remains of TS Arthur makes a close pass to the East coast on Monday.

Tonight: Increasing clouds with a low of 63. SE wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Thursday; Mostly cloudy with showers in the morning, then partly sunny with scattered showers and severe thunderstorms in the afternoon. Windy and humid with a high of 80. South wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH. Some storms will bring heavy rain, high wind gusts and isolated tornadoes. 

Thursday night: Clearing with lows in the upper 50's .

Friday; Sunny and much less humid. Highs in the upper 70's .

Saturday : Sunny with highs in the low 80's .

Sunday: Increasing clouds with highs in the 80's.

Nice Temps

 Wednesday will be another nice day with sunny skies and comfy temperatures. Then a series of fronts will come through the area on Thursday leading to scattered showers, storms plus gusty winds. It should dry out for the weekend.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high of 80. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.

The Week Ahead

 A front will bring showers and storms overnight leading to a cooler work week. Temps on Monday will be held in the 80's. Most of the week looks dry but showers and storms are likely by Thursday.

 Saturday will be another hot day although the humidity will be lower. Sunday will again before a strong front brings scattered showers and wind by late on Sunday. It looks like it will be a bit cooler early next week.

 Wednesday will be another warm one with some sun and a small risk of a shower. Thursday will feature a better chance for showers and storms as the heat and humidity build. The weekend looks dry at this point.

The week will start off rather comfortable on Monday with temps in the 70's. But then the heat and eventually the humidity will return, and heatwave is likely from the middle thru the end of the week.

Tuesday: Partly sunny with highs in the upper 80's. 

Wednesday: Sunny and humid. Highs in the low 90's. 

Thursday: Hazy, hot and humid with highs in the mid 90's. 

Friday: Sunny with highs in the 90's. 

Boston Weather: We have had the driest year on record so far in Boston with only about 10 inches of rain. And the latest drought monitor has much of the region in severe drought-including Boston. 

Weekend Update

 Showers and storms will linger thru Sunday as a cold front comes through. It will dry out for early next week before heat and humidity return for the middle and the end of the week.
