Snow Forecast

A sharp cold front will cross the area Tuesday morning as rain showers change to snow showers. The snow could put down a quick coating during the morning commute. Then clearing will come into area on Tuesday afternoon along with a cold wind. Tuesday night will be the coldest of the season so far as some spots will drop into the teens. It will still be cold on Wednesday before SW winds moderate the temps.

Boston forecast

Tonight: Cloudy until 3 AM, then rain showers mixed with snow. Low 32. SW winds of 10-20 MPH changing to NW late.

Tuesday: Snow showers until 9 AM, then increasing sunshine. High 37. NW winds of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. Snow may coat the ground.

Tuesday night: Clear and very cold. Lows in the mid 20's in Boston and teens in some of the suburbs! NW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 10 above late.

Wednesday: Sunny and cold. Highs in the upper 30's.

Thursday; Sunny and becoming warmer. Highs around 50.

Friday: Sunny with highs in the 50's.
