Tornado in MA

A line of storms came thru the area on Thursday leading to a weak tornado. The tornado hit Stoughton- a town south of Boston- at around 430 PM, and was classified as an EF0 Tornado. Now, there is a threat for more severe storms on Saturday afternoon as a cool front comes thru. On Mother's Day there is a threat for a brief shower, but nothing big.

EF1 : 85-110 MPH.
EF2: 111-135 MPH.
EF3: 136-165 MPH
EF4: 166-200 MPH
EF5: 200 MPH+

Boston forecast:

Tonight:  Increasing clouds with scattered showers late. Low 60.

Saturday: Partly sunny with scattered showers until 3 PM, then scattered severe thunderstorms. Breezy with a high of 73. SW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Some storms may produce gusty winds and small hail.

Saturday night: Scattered severe storms early, then mostly cloudy. Lows in the mid 50's.

Mother's Day: Happy Mother's day to all the moms! Mostly cloudy with  a shower around. Highs in the upper 60's .

Monday: Sunny with highs near 60. Frost is likely at night!
