A powerful storm will effect the area over the next 36 hours. However, temps will be marginal for a snow event and some of the snow will fall during the day on Thursday cutting back on snow totals. It now appears that most of the snow will fall in the city overnight Thursday night. And, strong winds will create major coastal flooding in some areas.
Alerts:
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Boston area.
A Wind Advisory is in effect for the coast-including Boston.
A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect for the coast-again including Boston.
