Tricky Forecast

Friday will be a dry day with less wind. Then a storm will come up the coast and give us another coastal storm. But, with no cold air to the north there will be a rain/snow line that will set up very close to Boston. Just a slight shift in conditions could mean the difference of close to 10 inches of  snow or 5 inches of very wet snow in the city with much more just to the NW.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clear with a low of 20.

Friday: Mostly sunny with less wind. High 37. SE wind less than 10 MPH,

Friday night: Increasing clouds with lows in the mid 20s.

Saturday: Cloudy until 4 PM, then rain mixed with wet snow. Highs in the upper 30's.  NE wind of 15-25 MPH.

Saturday night: Any rain changes to heavy snow overnight. Lows around 30. NE wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH

Sunday: Heavy snow continues thru the day. Highs near 30. NE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. Total snow amounts of 5-10 inches in Boston. Stay tuned for my timeline as the amounts could easily change!
