Cold Front

A sharp cold front will cross the area first thing Wednesday morning with a band of rain showers. Then, cold air will come into the area in the afternoon. Thursday will be the coldest day of the week with highs near 40. Wet weather is possible over the weekend.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Cloudy with scattered showers late. Areas of fog with near steady temps around 53.

Wednesday: Showers until 10 AM, then increasing sunshine. Temps near 53 in the morning will fall to 43 by 4 PM. Wind shifting to NW at 15-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Wednesday night: Clearing with lows in the upper 20's.

Thursday: Sunny and cool. Highs around 40.

Friday: Increasing clouds with highs around 50.

Saturday: Showers possible. Highs in the 40's.

Sunday: Wet weather likely .Highs in the  40's.
