Severe Storms

A stray storm this evening has come into Boston, but it should end quickly. On Saturday a cold front will come into the area leading to more scattered severe storms late. The height of the storms should be overnight Saturday night. So, it should dry out by Sunday afternoon.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Any storms fade to partly cloudy skies. Low 67.

Saturday: Partly sunny in the morning, then mostly cloudy with isoalted showers and severe thunderstorms in the afternoon. Windy with a high of 83. SW wind of 15-20 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Some storms will produce damaging winds and small hail.

Saturday night: Widspread showers with scattered severe thunderstorms. Lows in the low 70'.s  Some storms will produce damaging winds and small hail.

Sunday: Scattered showers early, then becoming sunny. Highs in the upper 70's.

Tropics: Leslie will head well east of New England, making landfall in Eastern Atlantic Canada. But, the storm will lead to big waves and rip currents along the coast.
