Wild Friday

A sharp cold front will cross the area on Friday with showers and downpours, and then gusty winds with falling temps. A cold weekend is in store with highs in the 30's on Saturday and 20's on Sunday. Temps will be around 20 for the Pats playoff game at 8 on Saturday.

Boston Forecast:

Tonight: Cloudy with fog, mist and drizzle. Near steady temps around 35. Watch for slippery spots late.

Friday: Scattered showers with isolated downpours in the morning, then partly sunny in the afternoon. Windy with temps near 50 in the morning, falling to 32 by 5 PM. SW winds of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.

Friday night: Clearing with lows in the mid 20's.

Saturday: Sunny with highs in the low 30's. Temps around 20 for the big game with wind chills in the teens. Go Pats!

Sunday: Sunny and very cold. Highs in the low 20's.
