On Tuesday the warm front will stall just SW of the Boston area, leading to another foggy and cool day in and around Boston. However, you don't have to go far to reach the hot and humid air. Even Western MA will reach the 70's and certainly NYC will also. The warm front will eventually come thru on Wednesday and the Boston area will finally reach the 70's on Wednesday and Thursday.
Boston, MA forecast:
Tonight: Low clouds and fog with mist and drizzle. Low 45.
Tuesday: Low clouds and fog with scattered showers, mist and drizzle. High 53. NE wind of 10-15 MPH.
Tuesday night: Cloudy with scattered showers. Areas of dense fog with lows around 50.
Wednesday: The warm front comes thru in the morning. Fog slowly leads to sunshine by afternoon. Humid with highs in the mid 70's.
Thursday: Partly sunny until 3 PM, then scattered thunderstorms. Still muggy with highs in the low 70's.
Friday: Partly Sunny and drier. Highs in the mid 60's.

It's ended up hotter than predicted - yesterday and today, but still not warm and summer-like.
ReplyDeleteDo you still have snow in Plymouth??!!
The snow melted Satuday afternoon when it changed to rain. Temps may go into the 60's this afternoon in Boston if the sun comes out. Flowers starting to bloom up here. Any leaves on trees in JP yet?
