We had a snowy and cold winter in the Boston area. However, most of the snow fell in a 6 week period from Christmas to Groundhog day. The cold weather hung around until early April, and we had even had some snow on April 1st. The snow piles that were feet high earlier this winter, gradually melted in late Feb. into March. So, we avoided another major flood event. I will give a month by month summary of snow and avg temps from Dec-March for Boston. Scroll to the end to see a forecast for the weekend.
