A weak storm that was expected to go out to sea, suddenly changed course and came into New England. Rain will slowly change to wet snow from west to east, and a coating to an isolated inch is possible. Untreated surfaces will be icy for the commute-so watch out early in the morning. Most of the week will return to cold and dry conditions, although a storm will make a close pass to the area on Friday.
