The worst of the heatwave will be Tuesday with hot temps and high humidity. Most inland locations will reach the mid to upper 90's. Right at the beaches temps will fall from the low 90's at 2 PM to the mid 80's by late afternoon. Then, a backdoor low pressure center will come down and cool us down right at the coast, but inland it will mid 90's again. Full relief will come this weekend when a sharp cold front comes in from the west.
Alert: A Heat Advisory in effect from 12 PM to 7 PM Tuesday.

Tonight: Clear, but beccoming more humid. Lows in the low to mid 70's.
Tuesday: Hazy, hot and humid. Highs near 93 in downtown Boston, 96 in JP and 98 in Westwood. Highs will reach the mid to upper 80's on Cape Cod. Heat index as high as 105 in the afternoon. NW wind of 10-15 MPH, but shifting to east in the afternoon.
Tuesday night: Clear and muggy. Warm with lows in the mid 70's.
Wednesday: A low pressure system will back up from SE Canada and give us a threat of thunderstorms. Still hazy, hot and muggy with highs around 87 in Boston and 92 in Westwood.
Thursday: Hazy and humid. A little cooler with highs in the mid 80's.
Friday: Similar to Thursday with sunny skies and highs in he mid 80's.
Tropics: Watching a cluster of thunderstorms near where Alex formed. It is expected to track into the Gulf of Mexico this week.
