The Week Ahead

The warm front will come through tonight with some scattered showers. It will usher in hot and humid air for one day- Monday. Then, a cold front will come crashing through with severe storms. Then more refreshing air comes in for the rest of the week.

Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Humid with lows in the low 70's.

Monday: Hazy unti 2 PM, then severe thunderstorms likely. Hot and humd with a high of 94. SW wind of 10-20 MPH. Some thunderstorms will produce hail, winds over 70 MPH and frequent lightning.

Monday night: A chance of severe thunderstorms until 8 PM , then remaining cloudy with scattered showers. Lows in the mid 60's.

Tuesday: A mix of sun and clouds with a risk of a storm in the afternoon. Highs in the low 80's.

Wednesday: A mix of sun and clouds with lower humidity. Highs in the 70's. A great day for the first day of campers at Hale.

Thursday: A mix of sun and clouds with highs in the mid 70's.

Friday: Sunny with highs near 75.

Tropics: Tropical Storm Alex is about to enter the Gulf, where it is expected to gain Hurricane status. The current track has the storm making a close pass to TX/ MEX border on Tuesday night or Wednesday.
