Our Internet has been down for 3 days, so I have not been able to get on to post a blog. It has been a great stretch of weather with sunny skies with temps in the 50's to near 60. However, it can't last all spring. Wednesday and Thursday will be mainly sunny with temps in the 40's. Then, a slow moving powerful nor'easter will come up the coast and bring us heavy rain and strong winds all weekend and into early next week. This will be a mainly rain event for most of New England, but there may be some wet snowflakes early next week. 2-4 inches of rain can be expected through Tuesday of next week.
Boston, MA forecast:

Saturday thru Sunday: A soaking rain for most of the time along with gale force winds as the nor'easter comes through. Near steady temps in the mid 40's.
Monday thru Tuesday: Showers continue as the wind diminishes. Some wet snowflakes may mix in, but no accumulating snow is expected at this early point. Temps in the 30's to near 40.
Weather news: A rare sub-tropical cyclone has formed in the south Atlantic and is effecting Brazil with winds of 80 MPH and heavy rains. This cyclone is only the 6th to ever form in the south Atlantic!
