The week ahead

Monday and Tuesday will be quiet with temps reaching the low to mid 30's each day. Then, all eyes turn to a storm gathering to the south. It will once again come up the coast, but a bit further north than last time. However, it is still uncertain how close it will come. One trustworthy model has a blizzard for Southern New England on Wednesday and other models just has a grazing, with with the Cape getting most of the accumulation. NYC is expected to get a good amount of snow out of this storm, and Philly will be hit again.

Boston, MA forecast: 

Tonight: Clear and very cold, lows near 18 in Boston, 16 in JP and 12 in the suburbs.  60 and clear for the super bowl in Miami, FL with a light wind. 

Monday: Sunny and breezy, High 34. NW wind of 10-25 MPH. 

Monday night: Partly cloudy, lows near 20. 

Tuesday: Sunny early, then increasing clouds in the afternoon. Highs in the low to mid 30's. 

Wednesday and Wednesday night: A powerful nor'easter may affect the area with heavy snow and strong winds. Highs around 30 and lows near 20. Stay tuned for details. 

Thursday: Early snow possible, then clearing and windy. Highs in the upper 20's. 

Friday: Sunny, highs near 30.
