Snow Totals

Snow fell heavily in most areas overnight accumulating a general 2-5 inches. Be sure to shovel any snow or slush off the sidewalks, because temps will drop into the 20's in all areas tonight causing any water to freeze.

Blue hill: 5.3 

Topsfield: 5.0 

Framingham: 4.5 

Arlington: 4.0

Worcester: 3.7

Mansfield: 3.5 

JP: 3.0 

Logan: 2.7 

The week ahead:

Today: Sunny and breezy. Cold, with highs in the upper 30's to near 40. NW winds 10- 20 MPH. It will feel more like 30 for most of the day. 

Tonight: Clear to partly cloudy and cold. Lows near 29 Downtown, 26 in JP and 20 in most outline areas. 

Monday: Partly to mostly sunny and chilly. A slight risk of a snow shower after 5 PM. High 40. Light NW wind.  

Monday night: A chance of a snow shower in the evening, otherwise mostly cloudy. Lows in the upper 20's to near 30. 

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, then increasing clouds. Highs in the 30's to near 40.

Wednesday: A stormy day is expected with snow in the morning changing to freezing rain and then rain. Some snow accumulation is  possible. Very windy with highs in the upper 30's. Stay tuned for details. 

Thursday and Friday : Cold air comes pouring down from Canada behind the storm. Windy with highs in the low to mid 30's both days.
