Stormy Black Friday

Happy Thanksgiving!  We have some friends joining us this afternoon for dinner. Hope everyone enjoys their food. Make it a great holiday.

Now to the weather: A storm centered off the Carolina coast will track NE and go right over the Cape tomorrow as it strengthens. That will provide the region with heavy rain and winds gusting over 30 MPH tomorrow. Then, as the storm races to Maine cold air will wrap in and turn rain to snow. Snow may pile up more than 1 foot in the mountains of northern New England. The rain will change to snow around Midnight west of Worcester and may amount to an inch or so. A snow shower or 2 is possible in the Boston area. It will also be very windy as winds gusts to 50 MPH are possible on Friday night and Saturday.

Boston, MA forecast:
