High Wind Warning!

A High Wind Warning is now in effect until 4 PM this afternoon for wind gusts up to 60 MPH for all of the Bay State! These winds are capable of downing trees and power lines. The winds will also push clearing into the region, as we will finally see the sun by this afternoon. Sunday will be great with sunny skies and temps near 50. Monday will be showery as a cold front approaches from the west. Behind the front, Tuesday will be the coldest day of the season so far. 


Boston, MA forecast:

Today: Cloudy until 11 AM, then clearing from west to east. Very windy with near steady temps in the upper 40's to near 50. NW winds of 30-40 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH! 

Tonight: Clear with wind gradually diminishing. Lows near 38 Downtown, 35 in JP and 32 in most outline areas. 

Sunday: Sunny and less windy. High 52. NW wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Sunday night: Becoming mostly cloudy, lows near 40.

Monday: Showers by afternoon. Breezy with highs near 50. 

Tuesday: Windy and cold. High 40. The wind chill will be in the 20's for most of the day. 

World weather: Many icebergs are drifting towards the New Zealand coast.  These icebergs have broken off from the Antarctic ice cap.  Here's the story:
