The steady to heavy rain has tapered to showers this afternoon. However, the rain caused puddles on the roads and played a part in a major accident on the Pike this morning, Also, Storrow drive was flooded near the Kenmore exit, causing a backup all the way to North Station. The showers will hang around until late this evening, then become more scattered. It will be better tomorrow with clearing from west to east and temps near 60. Next week seems to be sunny with temps mainly in the 50's.

Tonight:Showers around this evening, then showers becoming more scattered after midnight. Lows in the upper 40's. NE wind of 10-15 MPH, gusting to 30 MPH on the Cape.
Sunday: A risk of a shower before 10 AM, then clearing from west to east. Because of the early sunset clearing may never reach the coast, including Boston. High 60. A light wind.
Sunday night: Mostly cloudy early, then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the 40's.
