Storm Forecast

 After a cloudy Tuesday a powerful storm impact the region on Wednesday. The storm will bring downpours, thunder and damaging winds. A few inches of rain is possible and  winds could gust over 60 MPH in the afternoon and evening. 

Alert: 

A  High Wind Watch is in effect for parts of the coast for Wednesday 

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Areas of freezing drizzle and drizzle. Low 32. NE wind of 10-20 MPH. Watch for black ice late. 

Tuesday: Mainly cloudy with areas of drizzle. High 40. NE wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Tuesday night: Rain late. Temps rising to near 50 late. South wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. 

Wednesday: Heavy rain with scattered thunderstorms. Very windy with highs in the low 60's. SE wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH. 

Wednesday night; Heavy rain with scattered thunderstorms. Lows in the mid 30's. SE wind of 25-35 MPH with  gusts to 60 MPH, changing to  West at 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH late. Total rainfall of 2-4 inches. 

Thursday: Sunny and windy. Highs around 40. 

Friday: Sunny with highs in the mid 40's. 

Saturday: Sunny with highs in the 30's. 

Sunday: Precip possible.  Highs in the 30's.
