A powerful front will bring downpours, thunderstorms and high winds to the area on Wednesday. Even some tornadoes are possible-very rare for this time of year! Rain will be falling by the morning commute and will last all day. Thunderstorms-some severe-are most likely in the late afternoon and evening. And the highest wind gusts-some over 60 MPH!-will occur during the evening as well.

Tonight: Increasing showers. Temps rising to 42 by dawn. South wind increasing to 15-25 MPH.
Wednesday: Heavy rain with scattered thunderstorms. Humid with a high of 63. South wind increasing to 25-35 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH.
Wednesday night: Rain with scattered thunderstorms in t he evening, then rapid clearing late. Lows in the mid 30's. South wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 60 MPH in the evening, changing to West at 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH late. Total rainfall of 2-4 inches.
Thursday: Sunny and windy. Near steady temps in the upper 30's.
Friday: Sunny with highs in the mid 30's. .
Saturday; Sunny with highs around 40.
Sunday: Showers possible. Highs in the 40's.
