Wild Weekend

Warmer air will finally come into the area on Friday along with some sun. Then a sharp backdoor cold front will cross the region on Saturday leading to a dramatic drop in temps. By Sunday cold air may lead to some sleet.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Scattered showers ending. Low 48. SW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Friday; Partly to mostly cloudy. High 65. SW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Friday night: Mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 40's.

Saturday; Mostly cloudy with temps in the 50;s early, but falling through the 40's in the afternoon.

Sunday; Rain possibly mixed with sleet. Cold with highs in the upper 30's.

Patriots Day; Rain and wind likely. Highs in the 50's.
