Tropical Storm Hermine now has winds of 50 MPH in the Carolinas. The latest track takes the storm back over the water and will start to make its way north. And it is expected to re-strengthen to a Hurricane. However, a block on the east coast will stall the storm to the south of New England. At this point it looks to stall a bit to far south to have a major impact in the Boston area. But, a slight shift north could change that.
Boston forecast;
Tonight: Partly cloudy with a low of 58.
Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high of 73. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.
Saturday night: Increasing clouds with lows around 60.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy and breezy. Highs around 70.
Sunday night: Rain likely arrives along with some wind as Hermine stalls to our south.
Labor Day: Some rain and wind likely. Highs in the 60's. Stay tuned for a more detailed forecast over the next few days!
Tuesday: More showers and wind possible. Highs in the 70's.
Note: Stay tuned for any alerts issued over the next few days.
