Nor'easter Forecast

Another nor'easter will hit the area this weekend . It will be mainly a rain event, but some wet snow may mix in towards the end of the storm. And strong to damaging winds are likely-especially Saturday night into Sunday. And some coastal flooding is expected as well.

Alerts:

A High Wind Warning is in effect for the South Shore, Cape and Islands.

A High Wind Watch is in effect for the rest of the Boston area.

A Coastal Flood Watch is in effect for the coast-including Boston.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Scattered showers. Low 45. NE wind of 15-25 MPH.

Saturday: Showers in the morning, then rain in the afternoon. Near steady temps around 45. NE wind increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.

Saturday night: Periods of rain that may mix with wet snow at times. Windy with Lows in the mid 30's. NE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.

Sunday: Scattered rain and snow showers until 9 AM, then partly sunny and windy. Cold with highs in the low 40's .NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.

Sunday: Clearing and cold. Lows around 30. The first freeze of the season in Boston is possible.

Monday: Sunny with highs around 50.

Election Day: Sunny with highs around 60.

Wednesday: Dry with highs in the 60's.
