Storm Wednesday

Clouds will increase on Tuesday ahead of our next storm system. The rain will arrive in the morning, then as a warm front crosses the area and there will be a potential of severe weather in the afternoon. We may get a few inches of rain which could cause flooding. And, there will be a threat of damaging wind gusts and even a small chance of a brief tornado.

Alerts:

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for Worcester and points west for Wednesday night.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Increasing clouds with a low of 65.

Tuesday: Partly sunny in the morning, then increasing clouds in the afternoon. High 80. SE wind of 15-20 MPH.

Tuesday night: Cloudy in the evening, then scattered showers late. Lows in the mid 60's. SE wind of 15-25 MPH.

Wednesday: Showers in the morning, then showers with scattered severe storms in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 70's. SE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Thursday: Partial clearing with highs in the upper 70's .

Friday: Sunny with highs in the upper 70's.
