Hurricane Christobal will create big waves on Thursday as it passes about 300 miles offshore. And, as a front crosses the area tonight it will bring in cooler air for Thursday and Friday. Over the weekend it will start dry but some showers and thunderstorms are possible by Sunday.

A High Surf Advisory is in effect for the south coast, Cape and Islands until 8 PM Thursday.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Low 65. SW wind of 10-15 MPH.
Thursday: Mostly sunny and less humid. High 80. NW wind of 15-25 MPH.
Thursday night: Clear and cool. Lows in the upper 50's in Boston and upper 40's in some suburbs.
Friday: Partly sunny with highs in the low 70's.
Saturday: Sunny with highs in the upper 70's.
Sunday: Showers and storms possible. Highs in the 80's.
Labor Day: I return to Plymouth State! Rain possible with highs in the 70's.
