Heavy rain will continue as a strong cold front comes thru. However, as the cold air comes into the Boston area rain could change to snow before ending. Then, skies will clear out but temps will hold in the 40's with a wind. Wednesday night will be very cold and temps on Thursday will also be in the 40's.

A Flood Advisory is in effect until Midnight for Boston and points south.
A Flood Watch is in effect for most of New England until 8 AM Wed.
A Flood Warning is in effect for some rivers-including the Pemi. River here in Plymouth, NH
Boston forecast:
Tonight: Rain possibly mixed with snow late. Low 34. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. Snow may coat the grass in some areas.
Wednesday: Becoming sunny and windy. High 47. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts with to 40 MPH.
Wednesday night: Clear and very cold. Lows near 32 in Boston and in the 20's elsewhere.
Thursday: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 40's.
Friday: Mostly cloudy with highs in the low 50's
Saturday: Showers possible. Highs in the 50's.
Easter Sunday: Sunny with highs near 60.
