Weekend Washout

A storm will come up the coast and deliver more rain to the area this weekend. Rain will arrive on Saturday afternoon and continue thru Monday. The heaviest rain will fall Saturday night and Sunday and a few inches of rain is likely. And, that may cause localized flooding in the area. By Monday colder air will come back into the area and rain could change to snow.

A Flood Watch is in effect west of Boston.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a passing shower. Low 45.

Saturday: Partly sunny until 2 PM, then rain showers. High 50. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Saturday night: Heavy rain. Lows around 40. NE wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Sunday: Heavy rain continues. Near steady temps around 40. NE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Sunday: Rain continues. Lows in the upper 30's. Total rainfall of 1-3 inches possible.

Monday: Rain may end as snow. Temps holding in the 30's. Stay tuned!
