Wild Sunday

A sharp front will divide New England in half on Sunday. South of the front here in the Boston area temps will rise well into the 50's along with rain. But north of the front in Northern New England a major ice storm is expected. More rain is likely on Monday before colder air comes back into the area.

An Ice Storm Warning is in effect for Northern New England

A Freezing Rain Advisory is in effect for much of Central New England- Including the Concord, NH area.

Boston forecast;

Tonight; Cloudy with fog and scattered showers. Low 45. SW wind of 10-15 MPH.

Sunday: Scattered rain showers with fog. Highs near 43 north of Boston, 53 in Boston and 60 south of town. South wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.  A major ice storm is expected in VT, NH and ME!

Sunday night: Scattered showers in the evening ,then fog late. Lows around 40.

Monday: More rain likely. Highs around 50.

Christmas Eve Day: Clearing with highs around 30.

Christmas Eve; Clear with lows around 20.

Christmas Day: Sunny and cold. Highs in the upper 20's.
