A storm will come up the coast and give us a wintry mix on Monday. It will start out as snow in all areas before changing to sleet and then rain. Some minor amounts of snow are likely during the Monday morning commute. Another weak storm is possible on Tuesday afternoon. Then, the rest of the week will be cold.

Around midnight: Snow arrives. Temp 29.
2 AM-8AM: Periods of snow. Temp rising to 32
8AM-9 AM: A brief period of sleet and freezing rain possible in Boston. Temp 34. SE wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.
9 AM: Changes to rain in Boston-but a period of icing continues inland. Temp 36.
9AM-2 PM: Periods of rain, and ice changes to rain further inland. Temp 40. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.
2PM-5 PM: Rain ends. Temps near 42.
Snow Amounts;
A Coating-1 inch: Boston and rest of coastline.
1-2 inches and ice : NW of rte. 128
Rest of week forecast:
Monday night: Rain showers ending. Lows in the low 30's.
Tuesday: Snow possible. Highs in the mid 30's. Stay tuned!

Thursday: Sunny with highs in the upper 20's
