A White Christmas

Christmas eve day will be dry for any travel throughout New England as High pressure has control. Late Christmas Eve snow will arrive and continue thru most of Christmas Day. Some small accumulations are likely making it a wintry scene. Another more powerful storm is likely Wednesday into Thursday.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clear with a low of 27.

Christmas Eve Day: Mostly sunny with a high of 37. West wind of 10-20 MPH.

Christmas Eve: Increasing clouds until 4 AM, then snow. Lows in the upper 20's .

Christmas Day: Periods of snow. Highs in the mid 30's. Total snow amounts of 1-2 inches expected.

Wednesday: Increasing clouds with precip likely arriving late. Highs in the 30's .

Thursday: The storm likely.continues Highs around 40. Stay tuned!

Friday: Clearing with highs in the 30's .
