Impact Likely

Hurricane Sandy now has winds of 85 MPH, but it is intensifying south of Cuba. The latest track has a path through the Bahamas as a Hurricane. It will then come up the east coast this weekend making a very close pass to New England if not a direct hit on Monday seems very possible. At the point it comes up here it could be a Hurricane or an extra tropical major nor'easter. Either way the effects could be damaging. Stay tuned for further updates.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy with a low of 45.

Thursday: Partly sunny. High 63. East wind of 10-20 MPH.

Saturday: Sunny with highs in the low 60's.

Sunday: Increasingly cloudy and windy. All eyes turn to Sandy coming up the coast. Highs in the 60's.
