Snow Friday

Thursday will be another warm day with sunny skies and temps in the 50's. A storm will then ride up the coast and give us a shot of snow Friday morning. Ocean effect snow showers are possible on Christmas eve, with a coating of snow possible. Also, at this point the Christmas nor'easter is off-heading too far south.

Boston forecast:

Thursday: A mix of sun and clouds and warmer. High 53. West wind of 15-20 MPH.

Thursday night: Increasing clouds until 4 AM, then rain mixed with wet snow. Lows in the low 30's.

Friday: Snow until 10 AM, then partial clearing. Highs in the upper 30'.s Total snow amounts around an inch.

Saturday: Scattered snow showers and snow squalls. Highs in the low 30's. A coating or so is possible.

Christmas Day: Watching a coastal storm-this point out to sea. Highs in the mid 30's.
