A powerful storm will pass just south of the area on Wednesday leading to a windswept cold rain in the Boston area. However, north of Concord, NH 8-12+ inches of snow will fall. So, leave extra time to reach your destination if your headed up north. In the Boston area the precip may end as some wet snowflakes in the afternoon as colder air comes around the storm-but it won't stick. It should be a dry and chilly Thanksgiving Day-before another warmup for the weekend.
