This is my blog preview of the winter ahead. Last winter we had a blizzard blitz-from Christmas to Groundhog day, with at least a storm per week. The snow total for the season ended up double than normal-with about 80 inches total. The data this year supports fewer nor'easters-but still above average snowfall. I get this data from multiple sources online and this is my best estimate. This winter for each storm I will predict snowfall totals for the immediate Boston area.
