Improvement Ahead

The stalled nor'easter off the coast will continue to bring clouds and sprinkles into the Boston area on Wednesday. Thursday the storm will finally move to the east just enough to bring clearing to the area in the afternoon. Friday looks great with sunny skies and temps in the 60's. The weekend looks wet at this early stage, but that could change.

Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Low clouds and fog with scattered sprinkles. Low 47. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Wednesday: Low clouds and fog with scattered sprinkles in the morning, then partial clearing is possible. High 58. NE wind of 15-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Wednesday night: Low clouds and fog come back in off the ocean. Lows in the upper 40's.

Thursday: Low clouds and fog slowly lead to sunshine by afternoon. Highs in the low 60's.

Friday: Sunny with a sea breeze. Highs near 62 in Boston and 70 inland.

Saturday: Still in question-depending on a cold front showers are possible. Highs in the 60's.

Sunday: Depending on where the front stalls more rain is possible. Highs in the 50's.
