Wet Night

The track of the storm has shifted much further NW than I thought, meaning dry conditions this afternoon in Boston, and freezing rain all the way to the Canada border. Now, showers and even a rumble of thunder will last thru this evening before tapering off. No snow is expected, as the precip will end before temps get below freezing. Another storm will threaten the area Monday night, at this point it looks like it will head out to sea.

Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Rain showers with isolated thunderstorms this evening, then isolated pockets of freezing drizzle late. Foggy with a low of 31. SE wind increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH late.

Sunday: Cloudy early, then sunny and windy. High 40. West wind of 20-30 MPH in the morning, decreasing to 10-20 MPH in the afternoon. Be careful of slippery spots before 8 AM.

Sunday night: Increasing clouds with lows around 20.

Monday: Mainly cloudy with snow possible by dark. Highs in the mid 30's. Some light snow is possible at night based on the current track.

Tuesday: Snow possible in the morning-depending on the track of a storm. Highs around 30.

Wednesday: Sunny and cold with highs in the mid 20's.
