Monday Morning Snow

The NW wind brought back the cold today, causing many trees to come down. The winds will slowly diminish on Sunday along with the cold. On Monday a weakening storm will give us some mainly light, but accumulating snow on Monday morning. Then, more cold air will come in behind the storm.

Alerts: A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 5 AM Sunday for the Boston area.

Boston, MA forecast:

Tonight: Partly cloudy with scattered snow showers. Windy with lows around 14. NW wind of 25-35 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.

Sunday: Mainly sunny with the wind slowly diminishing. High 32. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH in the morning, decreasing to 10-20 MPH in the afternoon.

Sunday night: Increasing clouds until 2 AM, then snow. Lows around 20.

Monday: Snow in the morning, then cloudy skies. Highs around 30. Total snow amounts of 3-5 inches expected.

Tuesday: Clearing and windy. Highs in the 20's.

US weather: The storm that will effect us on Monday dumped over 10 FEET of snow in the mountains of California.
