Wet Wednesday

The storm that has been stalled to our south the last few days will come through our area tomorrow providing us with a soaking rain, especially in the morning. Then, the winds will switch to the west and dry air will come back into New England for the long weekend. However, it will become cooler at night and our first frost is possible on Saturday night.

Alert: A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect for the MA coastline for Wednesday.


Boston, MA forecast:



Tonight: Low clouds and fog with mist and occasional showers. Low 52. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.



Wednesday: Rain with rumbles of thunder possible until 4 PM, then mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Breezy with a high of 60. NE wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.
1-1.5 inches of rain expected.



Wednesday night: Scattered showers in the evening, then mostly cloudy after midnight. Lows in the low 50's.



Thursday: Mostly cloudy in the morning, then increasing sunshine in the afternoon. Warmer with highs in the upper 60's. West wind of 15-25 MPH.



Friday: A great October day with sunny skies and highs in the low 70's.



Saturday: Sunny, but cooler. Highs in the upper 50's.



Sunday: Sunny with highs around 60.


Columbus Day: Increasing clouds with highs in the mid 60's.

Tropics: Tropical Storm Otto is forecasted to form near Peurto Rico over the next day or so.
