It will be chilly the next 2 days with cloudy skies tomorrow, and more sun on Monday. Then a clipper system will move in from the west and dump more snow on the mid-Atlantic and the northeast. This won't be a blockbuster snowstorm, but a moderate amount is likely. Otherwise, vacation week will be quiet. I am headed to Stowe, VT with my family for the week and this will be my last blog until next weekend.
Boston, MA vacation week forecast:
Tonight: Cloudy, lows in the low to mid 20's.
Sunday: Cloudy in the morning, then some sun in the afternoon. High 38.
Sunday night: Mostly cloudy, lows near 25.
President's Day: Sunny, highs in the upper 30's.
Tuesday: Snow likely with highs around 30. 3-6 inches are likely over much of the area.
Wednesday: Clearing and windy. Highs in the upper 30's.
Thursday and Friday: Sunny, highs in the upper 30's.
Have a great week!

What's a Clipper System?
ReplyDeleteAre you back from Vermont? eager to know the weather forecast for the next few days.
ReplyDeleteJust got back from Vermont this evening. They only have a few inches up there in Stowe, and we had some melting. A clipper system is a storm that comes in from the west, and it has a warm front and a cold front attached to it. It is usually weaker than a storm coming up the coast.
