Morning Update -Just south

The snow has a sharp cutoff just south of the Cape and Islands right now, and I don't expect much more movement north. Here in Boston we have had some ocean effect flurries, and that will continue for most of the day here and along the south shore. The snow may coat the ground in some spots, but no more than that. However, the mid-Atlantic has already picked up a lot of snow as of 9 this morning. It is expected to snow heavily through tonight.

Storm totals: As of 9 AM this morning.

Baltimore, MD: 20 inches
DC: 15
Philly, PA: 10

A forecast for the rest of the weekend later
