A big area of high pressure is stalled over us and will provide sunny skies and temps in the 50's through Thursday. Then, a piece of a big storm stalled over the center of the country will head our way. As a result, light showers are expected on Friday. The main storm center will head north into Canada.
Boston, MA forecast:
Tonight: Clear and chilly. Lows near 40 in Boston, 37 in JP and around freezing elsewhere. Gusts from the north up to 25 MPH early.
Tuesday: Bright and seasonable. High 50. NE wind of 5-10 MPH.
Tuesday night: Clear, lows near 35 Downtown and 32 in JP and the mid 20's elsewhere,
Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the mid 50's. A light wind.
Thursday: A bright blue sky with highs in the mid 50's.
Thanksgiving outlook: the long range forecast suggests that a cold blast will come down from Canada on or just after Thanksgiving day. Stay tuned for updates.
