Trick Or Treat Timeline

 Halloween will not be as bad as I once feared for trick or treating. As clouds will increase during the evening but it will remain dry. And it will be relatively mild for this time of year. After Halloween a few showers are possible on Tuesday and it will clear out for the middle and end of the week. 

Boston forecast; 

Tonight: Partly cloudy with a low of 43. 

Halloween; Increasing clouds with a high of 63. SE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Trick Or Treat Timeline: for Boston area 

4 PM: Mostly cloudy with a temp of 62. South wind of 10-20 MPH through the evening 

6 PM: Cloudy with a temp of 60.

8 PM: Cloudy with  temp of 58.

Rest of Monday night: Scattered showers late. Lows around 50. 

Tuesday; Showers likely. Highs in the mid 60's. 

Wednesday; Sunny with highs in the upper 60's. 

Thursday; Sunny with highs in the upper 60's. 

Friday; Sunny with highs in the 70's. 

Frost Advisory

 A Frost Advisory has been posted for the City of  Boston for the first time this season. High Pressure will remain in control on Sunday leading to another nice day. And it now appears that Halloween will mostly dry.

A Freeze Warning is in effect for some of the suburbs until 9 AM Sunday.

 Friday will ne a much cooler day with sunny skies. The sun will shine all weekend, but it will be chilly. Rain is likely by Halloween.

Friday; Sunny and colder. High 53. NW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. 

Friday night: Clear with frost. Lows in the mid 30's. 

Saturday; Sunny and less windy. Highs around 60. 

Sunday; Sunny with highs in the low 60's.

Dense Fog Advisory

 Dense fog will continue to impact the area overnight and into Wednesday. And an area of low pressure will bring showers to the area on Wednesday as well. Then, skies will clear for Thursday leading to a great fall day.

The Week Ahead

 An area of low pressure will bring scattered rain to the area tonight through Monday.  Tuesday will also be damp before we watch a possible tropical system by Wednesday. It will clear out for the end of the week.

Monday; Mostly cloudy with scattered rain. High 60. North wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Monday night : Low clouds and fog with showers, mist and drizzle. Lows in the low 50's. NE wind of 15-20 MPH. 

Tuesday; Low clouds and fog and humid. Highs in the upper 60's. 

Wednesday; Watching a potential tropical system off the East Coast. Highs in the mid 60's. Stay tuned! 

Thursday; Clearing skies with highs in the 60's. 

Friday; Sunny with highs in the 50's. 

Weekend Forecast

 Saturday will be another great day with sunny skies and warm temps. Then a storm will come up the coast and bring us rain Sunday into Monday. More unsettled weather is expected for most of next week.

Sunday; Cloudy in the morning, then rain in the afternoon. Highs around 60. NE wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Sunday night; Heavy rain. Lows in the low 50's. 

Monday; Heavy rain. Highs around 60. 

Tuesday; Showers possible. Highs around 70.

Thursday will be similar to today with sunny skies and temps in the upper 50's. Friday will be a bit warmer with temps in the 60's and sunny skies as well. Saturday looks great before we track a coastal storm Sunday into Monday. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer.
