Back To Normal

 Temps will finally warm back close to normal for early December with some sun. By Thursday it will rise above normal, but it will come with some rain showers. Temps will cool behind the front. 

Boston forecast; 

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a low of 32.  SW wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Wednesday;  A mix of sun and clouds with a high of 47. West wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Wednesday night; Scattered rain and snow showers with no accumulation. Lows in the low 30's. SW widn of 10-20 MPH. 

Thursday; Showers likely. Highs in  the mid 50's. 

Thursday night; Rain showers and wind. Lows around 40. 

Friday ;Clearing and windy. Temps falling into the 30's. 

Saturday; Some snow possible. Highs in  the mid 30's. 

Sunday; Sunny with highs in the 30's.

Forecast Update

 Tuesday will feature a mix of sun and clouds and temps near 40. Temps by Wednesday will warm to near average. Then a powerful storm will bring rain, wind and maybe even some snow squalls by Thursday. 

Boston forecast: 

Tonight; Clear with  a low of 23. 

Tuesday; Mostly sunny in the morning, then increasing clouds in the afternoon. High 40. West wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy with lows in the low 30's. 

Wednesday; Sunny with highs in the mid 40's. 

Thursday; Rain and wind. Highs in the low 50's. 

Friday; Snow possible. Temps falling into the 30's.

Snow Update

 It now appears that the storm we have been tracking for the past few days will dissipate before it gets here. That will lead only to patchy light snow and flurries that may coat the ground. By midweek temps should warm enough for a rainstorm by Thursday. 

Boston forecast: 

Tonight: Areas of light snow and flurries. Low 32. NE wind of 10-15 MPH. 

Monday: Areas of light snow and flurries in the morning, then partly sunny in the afternoon. High 38. NE wind of 10-20 MPH. Snow may coat the ground. 

Monday night: Clear with lows in the mid 20's. 

Tuesday; Sunny with highs around 40. 

Wednesday; Partly sunny with highs in the mid 40's. 

Thursday: Rain and wind possible. Highs in the 50's. 

Friday; Sunny with highs in the 40's.

Some Snow

 A weak  system will give us scattered snow showers Sunday into Monday. But, it won't amount to much. It will dry out for mid week after the snow moves out.

Sunday; Mostly cloudy with a passing snow shower. High 38. NE wind of 10-20 MPH.

Sunday night; Scattered snow. Lows around 30. NE wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Monday; Scattered snow. Highs in the mid 30's. Snow may coat the ground. 

Tuesday; Sunny with highs in the upper 30's. 

Wednesday; Sunny with highs in the 40's.

Happy Thanksgiving!

 Happy Thanksgiving everyone and thanks for checking out my blog. I hope all had a nice holiday. Now, a strong cold front will bring rain  and snow to the area on Friday. As cold air comes into the region rain should change to snow all the way to Boston by late evening. A small accumulation is possible. Then after a cold weekend more snow is possible on Sunday night.

Tonight: Rain showers. Low 40. SW wind of 15-25 MPH/ 

Friday; Rain showers. Near steady temps around 43. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

Friday night: Rain showers until  7 PM, then snow showers. Lows in the upper 20's. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Snow may coat the ground in and around Boston. 

Saturday; Sunny and windy. Highs in the upper 30's. NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Holiday Week Forecast

 Wednesday will start out very cold and windy, but temps will rise into the 40's by the end of the day. Then Thanksgiving Day will be warmer with increasing clouds leading to rain by Friday.

Wednesday; Sunny and becoming less windy. High 45. NW wind of 15-25 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 10 ABOVE early. 

Wednesday night; Clear with lows in the upper 20's.
