Snow Sunday

Saturday will be another cold and sunny day with less wind. Then on Sunday a storm will come into the area in the afternoon leading to areas of snow. Snow will continue overnight into Monday morning with some accumulation likely.

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Clear and frigid again. Lows near 10 in Boston and BELOW 0 in some suburbs.

Saturday: Mostly sunny and still cold. High 32.  SW wind of 10-20 MPH.

Saturday night: Increasing clouds with lows in the mid 20's.

Sunday: Cloudy in the morning, then scattered snow showers in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 30's.

Frigid Friday

Squalls that came through the Boston area today marked even colder air coming into the area. As Friday will be windy and frigid along with sunny skies. Saturday will be a little better with temps recovering to near freezing. On Sunday clouds will increase ahead of our next storm threat.

Tonight: Clearing and frigid. Lows near 8 in Boston and 2 in the suburbs. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. Wind chill values as low as 20 BELOW late.

Friday: Mostly sunny and cold. High 23. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH in the morning, decreasing to 10-20 MPH late. Wind chill values as low as 20 BELOW before 9 AM.

Friday night: Clear and very cold once again. Lows in the single numbers.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with highs in the low 30's.

Sunday: Partly sunny with highs in the low 30's.

Scattered Squalls

A strong cold front will cross the area on Thursday leading to some more scattered snow showers and squalls that could coat the ground. Then, cold and windy weather will come into the area on Friday. Temps over the weekend will hold near freezing.

Thursday: Partly sunny in the morning, then scattered snow showers and squalls in the afternoon. High 30. West winds of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH. Snow may coat the ground.

Thursday night: Clearing and frigid again. Windy with lows in the single numbers. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Friday: Sunny and windy. Cold with highs in the mid 20's. NW wind of 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH.

Some Snow

A front will cross the area on Wednesday with scattered snow showers that may put down a coating. Yet another front will come into New England on Thursday with more snow showers likely. Friday looks like the coldest day of the week, with more snow possible this weekend.

Wednesday: Scattered snow showers. High 28. West winds of 15-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. Snow may coat the ground.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy and still cold. Lows around 15.

Thursday: Scattered snow showers and squalls. Highs around 30. Another coating of snow possible.

Friday: Sunny and cold. Highs in the mid 20's.

Saturday: Some snow possible. Highs in the 20's.

Sunday:  More snow possible. Highs in the 20's.

Cold Weather

Another cold and windy day is in store for Tuesday with some sun. On Wednesday a storm will mainly pass out to sea, but a few snow showers are possible with very little accumulation. On Thursday some more snow showers are possible, before even colder air comes into the area on Friday.

The Week Ahead

Another wintry week is in store for New England as colder air comes back into the northeast. Tonight a rain or  snow shower is possible as a strong cold front comes thru. On Monday skies will clear, but it will be windy and cold. Tuesday will be in the 20's before a storm makes a close pass on Wednesday.

Still Warm

Sunday will feature more clouds but temps will be warm again. As a sharp cold front comes through the area on Sunday night snow showers are possible. Monday will be colder as skies clear behind the front. Tuesday will feature increasing clouds before our next snow threat by Wednesday.
