Frost Advisory

 Clear skies and light winds will cause temps to drop to near or below freezing tonight in most areas. So, bring in your plants if you want to save them. By Thursday clouds will start to increase and there may be a shower along with temps nearing 60.

 A powerful nor'easter will bring heavy rain and strong winds to the area overnight into first thing Tuesday morning. Behind the storm the weather will clear.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for the coast-including Boston

Tuesday; Rain until 8 AM, then a mix of sun and clouds with a passing shower. High 53. SW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH.

Marathon Monday Forecas t

 Marathon Monday will be a great day for running with sunny skies, light winds and good temps.  Then a nor'easter will  bring rain and wind to the area Monday night into Tuesday morning. Some snow is possible in the higher elevations.

11 AM: Midway through the race; 45 and sunny

3 PM in  Boston: 48 and partly sunny and SE wind of 15-20 MPH.

Long Weekend Update

 Saturday will have a mix of sun and clouds and showers by late in the day as a cold front comes through. Easter Sunday will be colder and windy with a passing shower possible. Marathon Monday will be perfect for runners. And then a powerful nor'easter will impact the region Monday night into Tuesday. And even some  snow is possible depending on the exact track of the storm!

Holiday Weekend Forecast

 Friday will be a great day for the Red Sox home opener at 2 PM against Minnesota. A front will approach the region on Saturday afternoon leading to showers late in the day. Easter Sunday looks good and the so does Marathon Monday. Then a nor'easter may impact the area  Monday night into Tuesday. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer.

Complex Forecast

Thursday will be a tricky forecast with a front stalled through the area. On the warm side of the front temps will be near 80 and severe storms are likely. On the cold side of the front it will be in the upper 40's to low 50's with low clouds and fog. It seems most of the Boston area will be on the cold side. Then, skies will clear for the Red Sox home opener on Friday. Easter weekend will be cooler with a shower possible. And at this early stage Marathon Monday looks great for the runners.

 A front will bring scattered showers tonight into Tuesday morning. Then it now appears that Wednesday will feature more sunshine and warm temps. More showers are likely by late on Thursday.
