Wild Weather Continues

A powerful storm will impact the area on Saturday. Precip may start as a period of freezing rain as a warm front comes into the area. Once the front moves north of the area, any ice will change to  rain. And the wind will begin to gust out of the South. 

Boston forecast :

Tonight :Areas of freezing rain and rain late. Low 32. North wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Saturday; Areas of freezing rain and  rain until 9 AM, then rain showers. Windy with a high of 63.  South wind increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. Ice accumulation around a light glaze NW of Boston. 

Saturday night: Showers with scattered thunderstorms.  Temps fall to the low 40's by daybreak. South wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH, changing to West late. 

Sunday; Mostly sunny and breezy. Highs in the mid 40's. 

Monday: Sunny and warmer. Highs in the low 50's. 

Tuesday; Sunny with highs in the 50's.

Snow Update

 It seems that the storm will just graze the area bringing areas of light snow to the area Wednesday evening to Wednesday night. Some minor accumulation is possible. After that another major warmup is expected by the weekend. And rain and wind is likely again as temps soar into the 60's. 

Boston forecast:

Tonight: Increasing clouds with a low of 28. NW wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Wednesday; Scattered rain and snow. High 38. NE wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Wednesday night Any mix changes to snow. Lows in the mid 20's. North wind of 10-20 MPH. Total snow amounts around an inch in the Boston area. 

Thursday. Sunny with highs in the upper 30's. 

Friday; Showers likely. Highs in the upper 40's. 

Saturday: Rain and damaging winds likely. Highs in the mid 60's. Stay tuned! 

Sunday; Showers end-temps falling into the 40's.

Tough Call

 A storm will likely impact the area on Wednesday but it still unclear how much snow will fall. At this point I am expecting just a graze with a small accumulation in Boston. However, a small shift in the track will make a big difference. 

Boston forecast; 

Tonight; Showers ending, then clearing and windy. Low 37. West wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. 

Tuesday; Mostly sunny with a high of 43. NW wind of  15-25 MPH. 

Tuesday night: Increasing clouds with lows in the upper 20's. 

Wednesday; Cloudy in the morning, then periods of snow in the afternoon. Highs in the mid 30's. 

Wednesday night: Periods of snow. Lows in the mid 20's. Total snow amounts around an inch in Boston. 

Thursday: Sunny with highs in the mid 30's. 

Friday; Rain possible. Highs in the 40's.

A Stormy Week

 A wild Monday is in store with rain, strong winds and even a thunderstorm. Tuesday will be quiet before we watch another storm by Wednesday. But, the latest trends is to push the storm too far south to impact the area in a big way. 

Boston forecast ;

Tonight: Scattered rain late. Low 38. SE wind increasing to 15-25 MPH.

Monday; Mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms. High 65. South wind increasing to 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. 

Monday night: Showers with scattered thunderstorms early, then clearing late. Lows in the low 30's. Wind changing to West at 15-25 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. 

Tuesday; Sunny and chilly. Highs in the upper 30's. West wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH.

Wednesday; Some snow likely depending on the track of a storm. Highs in the mid 30's, Stay tuned!! 

Thursday; Partly sunny with highs in the 40's. 

Friday; Another storm possible. Highs in the 40's.

Wild Weather

 An active stretch of weather is ahead as a series of storms will affect the area. On Monday a powerful storm will pass to our West leading to rain and wind. Then after a break on Tuesday a colder storm  will arrive on Wednesday that may bring snow. 

Boston Forecast: 

Tonight; Partly cloudy with a low of 30. 

Sunday: A mix of sun and clouds with a high of 40. NW wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Sunday night: Increasing clouds with temps falling into the 30's. Wind changing to SE at 15-25 MPH.

Monday; Scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms. Highs in the mid 60's. South wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 50 MPH. 

Monday night: Showers and downpours. Temps dramatically fall to the mid 30's after the showers end.  NW wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 40 MPH. 

Tuesday; Sunny with highs in the upper 30's. 

Wednesday;  A storm probable. Highs around freezing. Stay tuned!

 A weak system may bring us a stray flurry or sprinkle on Saturday afternoon as it passes to our north. Sunday will be quiet before rain and strong winds on Monday.

Saturday: Mostly sunny in the morning, then mostly cloudy with a passing flurry or sprinkle in the afternoon. High 42. SW wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Saturday night: Clearing with lows in the upper 20's. 

Sunday; Sunny with highs in the upper 30's.

 Friday will be much colder and windy as the cold front came through this evening. Then a weak front may bring a flurry on Saturday morning. Sunday will be dry before rain, wind and warm temps by Monday.
