TS Odette formed at 5 PM today off the East Coast. However, is expected to turn NE and out to sea while brining a shower or 2 and a breeze to the Cape and Islands. After that a great stretch of weather will last into most of next week.

An area of low pressure being watched for tropical activity will make a close pass to the area on Friday night. Although ,it looks like some wind and showers are possible. Then, skies will clear for the weekend.

Wednesday will be a warmer and more humid day. Then a strong cold front will cross the region on Wednesday evening and bring scattered severe storms to the area. More showers are possible on Thursday as the front stalls. After that we will need to watch a potential Tropical Storm on Friday. At this point just a graze.

Tropics : TS Nicholas formed n the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday and will hit Texas with flooding rains and strong winds.
A cold front will approach the area, but it will remain dry during the day. As showers and storms should arrive after dark. It should dry out for Monday and Tuesday.
