A Nice Weekend

 The weekend looks great with sunny skies and comfy temps. On Saturday it will be sunny with low humidity. The humidity will rise a bit on Sunday and showers are likely at night.

Tonight; Clear and cool. Lows near 55 in Boston and 48 in the suburbs. 

Saturday: Mostly sunny with low humidity. High 77. SW wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Saturday night :Clear with lows in the upper 50's. 

Sunday ;Mostly sunny and more humid. Highs in the mid 80's. 

Sunday night; Showers likely. Lows in the upper 60's. 

Monday; Showers likely. Highs in the upper 70's. 

Tuesday; Sunny with highs in the 70's.

Showers and Storms

 A slow moving cold front will bring showers and thunderstorms to the area on Thursday. As it now appears a couple inches of rain is likely. It will dry out by Friday and the weekend looks great. 

Boston forecast :

Tonight: Showers with thunderstorms. Low 70. South wind of 15-25 MPH. 

Thursday; Downpours with scattered thunderstorms. Near steady temps around 72. SW wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Thursday night; Showers early, then clearing. Lows in the mid 60's. Total rainfall of 2-3 inches. 

Friday;  Becoming mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 70's. 

Saturday; Sunny with highs in the upper 70's. 

Sunday; Sunny with highs around 80.

Tropics Update; TS Mindy formed this afternoon in the eastern Gulf Of Mexico. It made landfall in Florida and is now expected to turn east and out to sea. Meanwhile Hurricane Larry will slam Newfoundland with hurricane conditions on Friday.

Tracking Hurricane Larry

 Major Hurricane Larry has winds of 115 MPH. It is expected to pass to the east of Bermuda tomorrow than make a turn to the North and hit Atlantic Canada as a Hurricane. Major impacts are possible there. Here, rough surf and rip currents are likely.

Tonight; Clear with a low of 65. 

Wednesday; Mostly sunny with a high of 85. SW wind increasing to 15-25 MPH. 

Wednesday night: Cloudy early, then showers with thunderstorms late. Lows in the upper 60's, SW wind of 10-20 MPH with gusts to 30 MPH. 

Thursday; Downpours with scattered thunderstorms. Highs in the upper 70's. .South wind of 15-25 MPH.

Friday; Sunny with highs in the upper 70's. 

Saturday; Sunny with highs in the mid 70's. 

Sunday; Sunny with highs around 80.

Nice Days

 The nice stretch of weather will continue over the next couple of days as High Pressure takes control. A front will cross the area on Thursday with scattered showers and storms. That front will also help push Hurricane Larry out to sea.

Tonight: Clear with a low of 63.

Tuesday; Mostly sunny with a high of 80. West wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Tuesday night: Clear with lows in the low 60's. 

Wednesday; Increasing clouds and more humid. Highs in the mid 80's. 

Wednesday night; Scattered showers and storms. Lows in the upper 60's. 

Thursday; Showers and storms likely. Highs in the upper 70's. 

Friday; Sunny with highs around 80.

Happy Labor Day!

 Labor Day will feature a mix of sun and clouds and comfy temps. Tuesday also looks great before a cold front comes through around mid week. That front should  help push Major Hurricane Larry out to sea. The Hurricane should produce big surf and rip currents by the end of the week. 

Boston forecast: 

Tonight: Scattered showers. Near steady temps around 68. South wind of 10-20 MPH. 

Labor Day: Mostly cloudy in the morning, then becoming mostly sunny in the afternoon. High 80. West wind of 10-20 MPH.

Monday night; Clear with lows in the low 60's. 

Tuesday; Sunny with highs in the upper 70's. 

Wednesday; Showers and storms possible late. Highs in the low 80's. 

Thursday; Larry makes its closest pass-likely well out to sea. Highs in the 80's. 

Friday; Sunny with highs in the 70's. 

Tropics; Larry is now a major Hurricane with winds of 125 MPH. It will make a very close pass to Bermuda early this week. Then turn north and may strike Atlantic Canada as a Hurricane by the end of the week. Stay tuned!

 Clouds will increase on Sunday, but it appears any showers will hold off until after dark. On Labor Day showers are possible early, but it may dry out by afternoon.

Storm Update

 The remains of Ida is bringing heavy rain, strong winds and tornadoes to the area tonight into Thursday morning. A major tornado occurred in parts of the Northeast along with a major flooding disaster. Now, the rain form the south will overtake the area.

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for all of MA. 

Flash Flood Warnings and Emergencies are in effect all over the Northeast

Tonight: Heavy rain with isolated tornadoes. Low  60. NE wind of 20-30 MPHI with gusts to 45 MPH. 

Thursday; Heavy rain until 9 AM, then becoming partly sunny. High 67. NE wind of 20-30 MPH with gusts to 45 MPH. Total rainfall of 4-6 inches. 

Thursday night: Clearing with with lows in the mid 50's. 

Friday: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 70's. 

Saturday; Sunny with highs in the mid 70's.
